volume up + power reboot not working

Hard reboot hasnt worked for me since jelly bean update. Anyone else?

Hold it and after screenshot it does the simulated battery pull reset. Works for me every time

I press the power button first, wait for the choice of "power off" or airplane mode, then I press the volume down while still holding in the power button. It will not take a screen shot that way.

It's saying to you hold power + vol down.
