I was delighted that the Droid offers a FREE GPS turn by turn navigation feature!!! I was sad to let go of VZ Navigator though, for the following reasons: Most important at the top!
1. Able to have a list of My Favorite places that I just clicked on and away I went!
2. Able to set route preferences: If I want to only be on Highways, no problem! Want to use surface streets? Just set and go! Get traffic updates via voice, not having to look at the screen.
3. Able to search for common locations with a click: Gas prices, Banks, etc...listed in distances from nearest to farthest. Click and Navigate! Or click and call!
4. Able to change voices.
Think we could get this with Google Maps??!!!
