Anyone from Pennsylvania get their update?
Nothing yet here.
Nope...I'm rooted and on a custom ROM. But last Friday when I was in a transitional phase on the phone I put the Stock ROM back on and tried. No dice. (So I'm back to Liquid again).
You can apply the update manually if you'd like: Verizon Galaxy Nexus Android 4.0.4 (IMM76K) Update Rolling Out To Some Users, Here's How To Get It Manually [Download]
No. NWPA here and nothing yet.. just checked..
Should this be a qualified statement? "if you are rooted" you can do it now? or did I miss something?
I'm in NJ and nothing yet. Sigh.
York County, fully stock, and still on 4.0.2. :turtle:
That's a negatory, Ghostrider.
Whats all this talk of updates?
Am I missing something? Verizon hasn't even said the update is being released to the public, right?
Good point. I thought the OP knew there was a release or something. If not then too soon to be looking for an update.... As much as i would like one.
Yes my apologies - you have to be rooted or have a custom recovery to flash this.
4.0.4 was released to a few phones last week in a soak test and the internet went crazy. Someone from the soak test grabbed a logcat of the download and the URL was retrieved and the update was made available to anyone who wanted to download/apply it.
