    Hey guys I picked up the HTC One yesterday and it seems to be a very impressive phone, especially compared to the Galaxy S4.

    Just had a few basic questions.**Sense 5.5 can natively remove Blinkfeed from what I've read**

    My questions would be

    1. Does running a custom rom eat memory and battery?
    2. Does it run ontop of the regular Sense UI or replace it completely?
    3. Will I be able to keep the features like Beats Audio, ect;

    Thanks guys

    A custom ROM replaces the stock OS. Many will use less battery than stock because of tweaks they contain. Memory usage depends on what you run, but as it isn't something running on top of the HTC ROM it doesn't add to memory use. Android doesn't work like Windows, so don't get hung up on how much free memory you have, the OS will try to keep stuff in memory anyway.

    Some ROMs keep Sense, and some remove it completely. A Sense ROM will keep Beats, the HTC camera app, etc. AOSP (Android Open Source Project) won't have any HTC apps (though may have other audio tweaks - will depend on the ROM ).
