I just upgraded to the Thunderbolt and was quite surprised to see Verizon offering that much for the incredible. I'm still trying to sell mine on ebay with all accessories to help offset the cost of my TB but cool to know I can still get $100 if all else fails.

This is just my personal opinion... DO NOT do it, hang on to your Incredibles for as long as you can (or keep it as a back up phone)... I truly believe that most will be hard pressed to find a device that is as good, let a long better than our Incredibles.

In fact I am seriously contemplating reactivating my DInc until VZW and HTC works out whatever the Thunderbolt's problem is (random reboots and loss of connectivity) not mention I really miss my trackpad lol.

I have not been this fustrated with a phone since my Droid Eris, so it is always nice to have an amazing fall back phone... heck I am probably going to reactivate my DINC when I get home from work... But this just my personal opinion :D

The thunderbolt isn't a bad phone, but like all first gen electronics, there are some kinks to be worked out. I love my incredible, and really I wouldn't trade it for any of the phones right now, except maybe the charge, but there isn't much of a community yet, so I'm kind of waiting for it to come around. If your really dead set on a new 4g phone, I would say do the charge, but honestly, wait for another month or so, some big things coming to big red :)

I feel ya on the HTC thing, I do love my inc, no doubt about it. I'm having issues with sense though, but its nothing that hasn't been gone over hundreds of times before with location not updating, ect, ect. Which is why I'm gonna root it and flash a new rom.

as far as the info...well, I won't say anything till stuff gets comfirmed honestly. Not a rumor spreading kind of guy, but I do work for vzw, so I may know something sooner than endgadget or cnet, lol. ;)

I'm loving the DInc as well and wouldn't trade it for any of the phones on the market right now except maybe the Evo. I'm not eligible for an upgrade until February anyway so it's kind of a no brainer for me. I've been extremely happy with my DInc though.

Clean INCs are going for $170-190 on eBay right now. I just upgraded to INC 2 and have mine listed for sale.

PS. Loved my INC, now love my INC2.

Gazelle is offering $113 for Dincs. I almost pulled the trigger on the Dinc trade in to VZW for $100 today and ordered the Thunderbolt. That would make me pay $99 for the Tbolt. I paid $99 for my Dinc a year ago. Having it for free for a year isn't bad. I saw that there is root for the Tbolt and being able to wifi hotspot/wifi tether my phone is important and upping the speed to 4G is appealing. Those you that are on here, what makes you so sure that's not a good idea. I didn't doit today bc I balked at giving up my Dinc. I love this phone. The ONLY two reasons for me to trade in and up is the front facing camera and 4G for wireless tether.

I do enjoy my Incredible and I like the features it offers. But for me to upgrade, I would want dual core, a little larger screen, front/rear facing cameras, and the option to have a larger capacity SD card. I will stick with Verizon (been with them since the early 1990's) and I'm hoping HTC will have all the items listed on my wish list in what I am looking for my next phone upgrade. The Charge and the Bionic does not excite me. If anything, I just might try my hand at the next Iphone 5  if HTC doesn't come through in the near future. Just joking;).

you need more than 40gb on your phone? What are you possibly doing that needs that much space?

I would keep it but I really need to help offset the cost of the TB. I still have my old Storm and BB.

I haven't had any of the reboot issues so far with the TB, guess I'm one of the lucky one's. I have had some problems with connectivity but very minor.
