Wal-Mart is advertising the Droid X for 149.99, I wish I could have seen this before buying on Verizon Online. Check it out guys.

    No-contract is cheaper too. $530.

Everyone is sold out locally, but Walmart got exactly 2 of them in today, and I got the last one. :D

That's online ONLY. In-store with new activation is still $199. I saw the sign there today.

Better than nothing, if everyone else is sold out and Verizon is now saying shipments won't be until the 23rd.

You will have to add shipping:

    UPS 2 Day - $6.97 (2 business days)
    UPS Overnight - $14.97 (1 business day)

I'll agree with that! You aren't in Little Rock are you? I bought the last one on the west side. It was between best buy, the two VZ stores and walmart.

I heard a rumor that Radio Shack has them and might have them in stock. Check there!

Same here. I picked up one of the two at full retail.

Im debating if I should order this online or just go into a local Verizon location.
I'd save 100 dollars total after I get my rebate (months later?) but I'd have to wait till it ships to me (Army base...soldiers in training hardly get their mail on time) and then ship it to my girlfriend at the end of the week by UPS

All this worth saving 100 dollars?

No I am in Bentonville, the home of Wal-Mart, so I might be a little prejudice :D

I see the BB is sold out online @199.

Wirefly.com seems to have them for $179 with free shipping

I didn't really see that price anywhere except on the forums. The $530 is what I paid in store.

Besides the price what is the difference between ordering it from Walmart online and ordering through Verizon?

sucks. the $150 price is only for new activations. itll be 250 for renewals. probably should just go to wirefly.

Support is typically where you got it from. I would have loved to buy from VZ, but their stock went immediately.

Make sure to really read the wirefly contract, I heard they have their own steep ETF's in addition to VZ.
