Help Wallpaper Creation Help

I like to create my own wallpapers but every time i do i go in and try to set it and there is a stupid orange box holding me from making the wallpaper show in full on the screen. What do i need to do to work around this or make it work right ?

it seems like they are forcing it in to 800x400 in the crop box....

If the picture you want for your wallpaper is online, navigate to it through your browser, and long click the picture. A popup will open, scroll down to the very bottom and the last option will be to set as wallpaper. Thats what I've been doing to get around the annoyance of the orange box. I use Dolphin HD as my browser, not sure if it works with other browsers too.
