I'm trying to set a wallpaper to a pure black jpg image I created. The picture resolution is 960x800. When I choose the image as my wallpaper I get a message saying, "The picture has been set as your wallpaper", however it is NOT set. It uses the 2nd HTC wallpaper instead. What am I doing wrong?

This happened to be a couple times and all I had to do was restart the phone and the wallpaper would be set to what I had intended. It happened after I installed the Mario live wallpaper app.

I've had the same issue, and had to power off/on to get it to 'stick'.
