Help Wallpaper question

I got a HTC Wildfire on Saturday. My first Android devise. One thing I found is when trying to set a normal 320 by 240 wall it gives you a section of the image only, but when selecting a standby screen wall you can select the whole image. I haven't figured out the whole phone yet but I cant seem to set normal 320x240 walls as background images.

Anyone got some pointers on this?

guys i bougth wildfire...
its working average m not happy wit it...
as its troubling alot..
like weh m turning on data connction its not working..
wen m restartin it its working...
but not for long time
