Anyone know where the moments wallpaper gallery images are stored? I can't find em on the SDCard. I'm also trying to add my own custom images that I've put on the card and every time I set them as my wallpaper they seem soooo zoomed in? I've tried resizing them from 1600 to like 480xwhatever and I still get the same results.

Thanks!

get the app called wallpaper set and save off the market itll take care of all problems ur having just after you download it make a folder named wallpapers on your sd card and save all pics u want to use as a wallpaper there

also risize them to 600 x 480 not 1600 x 480

Even creating a folder called wallpapers doesn't place it in the wallpaper gallery. You have to select pictures when assigning a wallpaper and it shows everything in your sd card. I would also like to find a way that my wallpapers show in the wallpaper gallery as well. any one had any luck creating a folder on the sd that directs to that directory?

Best results I have had is editing the image with photoshop and using the following settings:

640x480, 16 Bits/channel, and save as a maximum size jpeg with 100% quality. This produces a crisp image on the phone with 0 pixelation but the file size is around 240k.

I found that even bumping the quality down 10% to reduce file size added a small amount pixelation to the image.

BTW, you don't need any special apps, just save the image onyour SD card via the USB connection. When you change the wallpaper, select pictures instead of wallpaper gallery and it should read everything on the SD card.

Cheers

Nothing has been found yet I think people may have just said forget it and use pictures. I don't like seeing all my pictures com up though to choose from. Especially when it shows pictures that are inaapropriate that I take or have downloaded when i just want to change the background. It would be nice to find a way to store them in the wallpaper gallery. Maybe with 2.1

I used USB and went into the gallery and set up a folder for Droid Wallpapers. I put all the things I may want to use as a wallpaper there. Now when I want to use one, I just go to that folder and pick the one I want. I don't have to look through all the pictures.
