want 5 screens right now whit out rooting.?

    Umm ... your title refers to the 5-screen 'Launcher' homescreen of 2.1. But the link refers to 2.1's gallery.

    OP fixed it ... cool.

    Launcher2 is great if you're fond of ridiculous numbers of force closes......you can also get 5 screens with the free launcher+ app in the market with far fewer FCs. My experience/opinion anyway :)

    How about 8 screens? Home++ gives you 5 and you can switch to the standard home screen which gives you 3 more.

    I just downloaded, seems to be stable and works as it should. This seems smoother and faster than Panda Home which I had been using for a couple weeks. I am looking forward to the full OTA update.

    Home++ can actually give you 7. Launcher plus gives 5
    Also launcher2 that the op refers to uses ridiculous amounts of RAM. Not worth it

    yeah but that is what these forums are for..

    and once set-up you are done until you want to change it.

    Kind of like my SageTV with the SageMC plug in

    Imagine you go to a Toyota dealer to buy a car. But they hand you a wrench and point you toward the parts warehouse.

    In there are the best performance parts in the world. F1 engines, even. Race suspensions, etc. But...you have to conceive it, design it, build it, debug it and finalize it.

    That's SH2.

    BTW, you're probably not much of a mechanic in this scenario.

    Quite honestly, I have probably a week of creating, and I'm still tweaking it. Not a straight week mind you ... but in between flashing ROMs, testing apps, over-clocking my DROID, and replying to PMs wanting to know if they can have my theme. :D

    I would say that's a fair assessment. It runs extremely fast and smooth once setup, but the editing is a bit finicky. I recommend a task killer before editing, but that's just me. Also, save your theme often, as with any programming.

    The dev for this app is working very hard. I can't wait to see what beta 3 brings.

    SO this is all done directly on the phone? or if I undterstand correctly using the SDK you can do some of it on a PC

    I played with using the PC, but there are more issues than just dealing with the phone UI. But, it's you're world ... you can try it.

    I bought that app just before discovering Sweeter Home, so I really don't "need" it. I bought the PRO version because I thought the dev deserved it. Not sure what the PRO version buys you. I can tell you that the last update actually make the app work very well on the DROID. Before that, the app had major issues.

    I not only had issues with FC's, but it also slowed my Droid and I had a lot of lag...I uninstalled
