    I have a Nexus 5 with Android 6.0.1

I'd really like to have he current temperature show up on my lockscreen.

Sometimes, a notification from Google now shows up when I turn on the phone, but it displays the forecasted high, not the current temp. Also, I don't understand why it shows up some times, and others not.

    Can anyone help?

That's OK, I figured it out.

I downloaded the Weather Underground widget. It puts a notification on the lock screen that displays current temp.
El Presidente and androidmachine like this.

Whoops ... I spoke too soon. The weather underground widget does put a notification on the lockscreen that displays the temp, but it doesn't update. You see the temp when the screen locked.

I have the Weather Underground 1x1 widget on my lockscreen. I have it set to update when I open the phone. It gives me currant temperature and the forecast for the day.

    I forgot I'm using C-locker paid version

That must be the difference. I've looked all through the settings, and can't find a way to get it to do that on the free version.
