I am currently a Nokia Lumia 900 owner and have been a huge Windows Phone fan for about 8 months now. There are still some lingering issues I have with WP7, one of them mainly being the notifications system.

I haven't messed with Android in roughly 1 year, right when 2.3 came out. I originally ditched Android because the OS was buggy still, never got updated and the battery life was terrible do to the task management. I was looking to test out the latest and greatest Android handset and see what phone works best for me either Android or Windows Phone.

I want to know what phone should I try...I have some must haves though and some likes:

    Must Haves:

    • 4.3" screen or bigger
    • Battery that will last all day on medium usage (7am-11pm).
    • HSPA+ or better
    • Android 4.0 or higher
    • Must work on AT&T
    • Dual core or better
    • Good camera

Likes (not 100% a deal breaker)

    • AMOLD display
    • LTE
    • Quad core

The HTC One X is probably the phone that meets most of your criteria except for maybe battery life. I believe that's out now but if you want to wait...then the galaxy s3 is also on its way.

Btw, Welcome to the forums, tweet!

I thought the One X also, but the screen and the battery life are my biggest concerns. I really need the battery to last all day.

As for the Galaxy S3...as I recall for the S2 it took AT&T months after release to finally get them. I don't want to have to wait until August to get one.

I like the AT&T Galaxy S2 Skyrocket, but it only has Android 2.3 and who knows when it will get 4.04.

Yeah, I don't know your usage so I couldn't tell you if the phone will last from 7am-11pm. Sorry tweet. Out of curiousity, what do you mean about the screen?

LCD screens are eh at least it was on my HTC Titan.

I check Facebook and Twitter throughout the day as well as push 2 email accounts and check text messages. I do use some weather apps and photo apps. I would say moderate usage for everything.

Oh I see. You gotta stick with what you like but I would at least try it out...since you're just testing the waters, right?

    Good luck, Tweet!
