could someone please post me a direct link to the best kernel i need to root my phone with the current info above. also i need the direct link for the stock kernel just incase it does need to go back again. direct links only please because ill just get lost or f something up

last but not least. i know titanium backup is the best for backing up things. but is there some app out for unrooted phones so i can backup before i root?

The file is password protected! What is the password to extract it?

hi shotty, just wondering if im gonna update my kernel to the latest at the link above, do i still need to clean the cache and everything or just flash the zip file to the cwm right away?

I'd clear cache and dalvik before flashing.
