Do not play with an EVO. I just bought my wife one and it is the real deal. IT SMOKES! This is quite possibly the iPhone killer everyone is striving for. It is fast. It is smooth. The display is unbelievable. I was not expecting to be this impressed. Even in 3G it smokes mt Moment. So consider yourself warned. Do not get near one.

For me, unless they remove the 4g tax or provide me with 4g coverage where I work/live/play? No problem!

My wife just walked in the door after looking at one because she's hating her pre and said it was too freaking big for her no matter how good it is.

I would think for a woman, bigger is better. They keep them in their purse...bigger it is, the easier to find. The keyboard issue isn't one because the screen is so big...the keyboard is big. Everything happens right now. I honestly was just thinking it isn't gonna be a big deal since it is just another android device...WRONG! Anyway, while I have not spent much time with it, I do believe it will live up to the hype. It really does perform significantly better than this phone. Don't mean to be all ghey about it but you notice the minute you pick it up. I like that it is smooth AND fast. Seems to move with iPhone precision excepr a helluva lot faster. Anyway, I will shut up.

If we get one in the office for our devs to do testing on, you can bet I'm going to snag it and do an ESN swap for the weekend.

I found it wasn't as big as I was expecting and lighter than my moment.

Too late, I already did. ;)

Sorry, Moment, I hate to leave you. It has been less than 30 days and I can't pass this up.

I ordered my EVO this morning after checking it out in person. My main concern was the keyboard and while I make more mistakes than on the qwerty, I think I can get used to it.

Hey, I was just giving y'all a warning. Do not pick one up or play with it. It absolutely torches the Moment. My wife dropped her Moment and the screen cracked. I thought I had full coverage on it only to find out that I didn't. So not wanting to pay 300 bills to replace a phone she was not that fond of to begin with, I bought her this phone at full price....OUCHY! I can tell you, whatever you do on it happens RIGHT NOW! There is NO LAG whatsoever....BAM BAM BAM! The camera is incredible too with numerous settings. Multi-touch is as smooth as the iPhone. The screen is phenominal. And the onscreen keyboard is adequate at the very least and for me, not even the issue that I thought it would be. I am just as quick on it as I am the Moment's. So go ahead over to the EVO 4G part of this forum. There is nothing but awe over there. It exceeded most people's expectations.....mine by far. And I am one whiney ass tough customer.

Haha, nice. I can get one anytime but I can't see myself paying 10$ more a month for something I don't have available in my market yet. Once it does definitely. Enjoy.

I haven't seen any pics of the EVO's physical keyboard how is it compared to the Moment's? :p

Yeah thanks, I'll keep my Moment. :)

The Moment's is far and away better seeing as how the EVO doesn't have one. DUH!!!!

it's only been a few days....of course everyone is in love with something new.
not many moment users had complaints right away.

yes it seems to be a great phone, but give it a few weeks and i'll bet just like any other phone it'll have its quirks.

my moment isn't the fastest, but certainly not the slowest. and for the most part we're passed the "quirks" so i'm a happy camper.
