So prior to ICS I had intermittent problems with GPS and they would usually be solved by rebooting. While it was annoying to reboot, I just didn't use the GPS that much to return the phone. After the ICS update the issue became significantly worst. Rebooting didn't solve the problem and I would say that the GPS isn't working 9 times out of 10.
I went though all the hoops w/ tech support and they have an warranty exchange unit on their way. They did make the following threat to me: If the problem cannot be repeated in their testing, I would be charged a "restocking" fee.
So considering that the issue doesn't happen all the time (but often), how worried should I be that they will try to screw me over with this restocking fee if it just so happens that the GPS works when they try it?
