Warranty Question

    I bought my evo at best but and have not had any problems with it. I did not get any type of service plan. I have never damaged a phone. Question I have is after my 30 days is up which is tomorrow who will warranty the phone. I am worried if I download an update and it bricks who is responsible. Will I be able to go through sprint and get a new phone or will it be HTC.

    It would definitely be Sprint who you would go to, but if something were to happen to your phone i would go through ever resource until someone resolves it.. If you are willing, you should look into insurance of some sort..

    Regardless. Only Sprint handles warranty issues the first year. Have a problem, bring phone to Sprint repair center.

    Did you buy insurance through Best Buy? Go to best buy

    Do you have Sprint TEP? Hardware problem goes to sprint, damage problem call assurion

    Are you claiming under HTC's warranty? Call HTC and see what they say. Most likely Sprint will warranty it out for you!
