Was your Galaxy Nexus made in China or Korea?
The sticker under the battery in mine reads Made in Korea. This is my second Galaxy Nexus and it was shipped to me on January 14.
Korea. I have my one and only release day-phone. The only bug I experienced was the low volume issue that was cleared up with the ROMs I've flashed.
aren't they all made in Korea?
Folks with "Made in Korea", when did you get your Galaxy Nexus and what is the Build Date?
So my Theory is:
It seems that the initial batch of Galaxy Nexus were Made in Korea, Seems the production has been switched to China.............So a recently purchased Galaxy Nexus is made in China.........
Perhaps the Galaxy S3 is now being made in Korea instead of the Galaxy Nexus?
My nexus was made in china!
That means i got ripped off!!!!!
Stupid Amazon! >.<
I love My nexus......but really china? [Wha!] Am like so butt hurt right now! -__-
So....Which one is better or whats the diff?
MY SH*T WAS MADE IN CHINA!!!!!!!!!
hmmmm that is strange...since Samsung is based out of Korea. And they manufacture almost all of their products there.
however i guess it shouldn't be to strange. They import a lot of food in from China as well because it's cheaper than producing it in Korea.
Actually samsung produces a lot of their phones in China. I think they only produce their top models in Korea, and never thought Nexus will be shifted to China. But all of Apple, Motorola and most of HTC phones are made in China too, I believe.
When did you buy you Galaxy Nexus? What is build date?
Korea. Bought it from Verizon on launch day.
got mine the other day. made in china like everything else
I got mine on launch day also and it was made in Korea. The screen cracked on mine so I am going to file a claim with Asurion eventually and that one might come made from china. Unless it's a refurbished one from Korea. We'll see.
The real question should be: those of you with phones made in China, have you noticed the recurring issues with random reboots, signal issues, screen banding, etc?
China here (AmazonWireless.com - $99!) and my phone has been working very nicely. I guess I don't care where it was made, so long as it works as it should.
