So I will be able to get this standard and don't have to pay the upcharge for the additional channels?

    Team USA sucks!

I predict their loss with 2-0

    Italy for the MFW <^>

You know as well as I do that USA isn't a horrible team, but that's because they'll recruit people from other teams and/or countries to play for them. And if I had to guess, the majority of the players aren't native Americans (natural born).

Fantastic for people stuck in the office at work with good signal strength :)

Just checked it out, quality isn't so good on my Moment and I can't find any settings to make it better... Is it based on signal strength?

This is good news. So sad for my Ecuador team but i get to see some good games. Oh the joy.

England will take it... But if my jolly old loses, I'll root for America.

They're like that sad little team that you get a tear in your eye when you watch them play...

EDIT: It's a joke guys, USA has become a lot better these days. But we're still gonna take it, sorry.

EDIT2: Do you have to pay for Sprint TV? I've always rooted/flashed a new ROM to get rid of bloatware, and never even opened it. In short, are they going to charge me to watch it on my Evo? Cuz if that's the case, I'll just stream it...

In my bracket I do have England coming out tops in Group C. But I also have them losing to USA on the 12th. :D

This is honestly the killer app for the Evo. I still plan to make sure I'm off work on the 12th, but I probably won't get off work for *all* the games.

Sorry fellas, but this is Brazil's cup to win. But thanks for playing! :D

I always support U.S. teams, but my wife is Brazilian, and watching soccer with Brazilians is more exciting than actually watching the game -still trying to really get into soccer. Since they score so infrequently, I guess you have to get into the passing, and how many "almost goals" you see.

That's pretty awesome news. I'm not a huge soccer fan but tend to follow and watch this event.

Not to derail this topic, but does anyone know if the NFL channel is still on Sprint? I had heard they may lose it this year to another carrier when their contract was up for the rights to the channel? I think it was mentioned in a previous thread here or over at Android Central's forums.

Nice! But do we have to pay for SprintTV at all? I know some channels are included, but I'm thinking they're gonna try and nickel and dime us for FIFA.

I see more channels than on my old Sprint phones. (Hero, Moment, Pre)

If you have the everything data plan, you should be good for espn.

Whew, thanks so much. This helps a ton (vs my plan of streaming it at work and trying to hide the window anytime someone came in)
