So, I'm new to the whole "smart phone" thing but I have been able to figure out how to all the things I want to do on my Droid Eris so far except one...

I like to watch videos on Hulu and Adult Swim Fix. When I try to watch them using my droid eris, I get a message that says this content can't play on this device. I have been able to watch YouTube videos but not the Hulu or AdultSwimFix ones.

Does anyone know what I need to do to be able to watch these videos?

Is there an app I need to get or a setting I need to change?

Any help would be appreciated. :)

Can't watch Hulu, they have blocked mobile devices without adobe flash 10.1 or something, we might be able to in 2.2 but for now we're out of luck

Yeah, Hulu has blocked it from mobile phones.

I get the error on youtube all the time... I've found if I keep trying, it will eventually play.

Thank you for the responses. I can live without access to hulu on my phone. :)

Is Adult Swim blocking mobile devices as well?

I honestly could live without flash support on the Eris. BUT, it would always be nice to be able to watch Family Guy or King Of The Hill every once in a while =] but 2.2 is a long way away, if we even get it... sigh...

That might be because the Eris uses Flash Lite (which is about equal to Flash 9). The adult swim player may need Flash 10.

The Eris will never be able to play online videos. The CPU is far too underpowered to run flash 10. Its just not going to happen. Even the 1ghz snapdragon (which has 4 times the performance of the cpu in the eris) has difficulty running flash 10 video perfectly smooth at times.

Ya know using the default browser, i couldnt play anything flash. I got Skyfire and it seems as though nothing doesnt work (double negative means it all works).
