What are they going to do with the teacher's daughter!
I'm watching Episode 1
that's on hbo, right? let me know how that series goes. i'm tempted to sign up for the streaming service, but i can only handle so many streaming services these days.....lol
I'm not sure what was happening in episode one. I think I kept falling asleep but Episode 2 "Martial Feats of Comanche Horsemanship" really rang my bell. I'll watch this to end of the season but I have HBO as part of my cable subscription so HBO Go is free for me.
Episode 3 should be called "What?".
or "I don't really care". The FBI plays both sides. I love this Special Agent Blake.
Is she the last without a mask? Practically everybody has one. Oz is Alive! Shite.
So I was watching the credits for episode 3 and noticed there were 45 "drivers* for this show.
What do "drivers" do: Is it a term of art or does anyone who drives a vehicle on a show get a credit now?
I will wait until its on dvd.
OT: Well me beinga late bloomer baby boomer I'm used to these week long cliffhangers. Heck, if you binge watch it's like watching a movie.
BOT: Do they make a Men's version of Sister Nights coat? I've worn leather jackets and sports coat length coats but her coat goes down to the ankle with a cool ass hood included.
Could that be a reference to the Hooded Avenger from the movie?
Starting Episode 4, "If You Don't Like My Story, Write Your Own".
OT: Who is making these coats?
I think they are"Roaring Twenties" coats minus the fur.
I haven't watched any of these yet.
You should watch at least one.
It's very good meshing the Comic Books, Graphic Novel, and Movie into a no internet connection version of the future.
They even included a pirate ship reference in episode 4. I'm watching Episode 5 now and somehow I get the feeling Agent Blake is going to die. Maybe not in this episode but her father was "The Comedian".
Episode 5 - Why didn't he check the cylinder?
Boot to the head. Nah Nah.
I have no idea where this is going but there will be a season 2 and Agent Blake will die before that.
It's an African-American, aka Black, aka Colored People feeling.
Watchmen series is so cool. It has something for everyone. The introduction of Lady Trieu in episode 4; Golden.
Episode 5 belongs to Looking Glass.
Episode 6: So Relevant it's like we have a conduit to the future...
Why black & white though?
I'm never gonna dance again until I get another episode.
Episode 7: An Almost Religious Awe
The plot thickens...
Will Agent Blake escape?
Will Ozymandias live?
Who is Lady Trieu?
Definitely a second season. No way can they wrap this up in two more episodes.
Alternate titles for Episode 7:
"More child trauma please."
"Jeremy Irons deserves an Emmy."
"Who put the clops in the Cy Cy Cy Cyclops."
Anybody but me watching this show?
OT: But kind of relevant...
Couldn't she finish the new Boondocks (He's back, but Grandad's dead) before season 2 of Watchmen could start?
