How badly did it get wet? what was dropped on it or what did you drop it in? does it power on at all? blank screen, no screen? you can go ask sprint but if it is damaged by water there not going to do anything for you... does insurance cover water damage?

Just checked... Insuarnce does not cover water damage so good luck

The warranty doesn't cover water damage, but TEP does. Heck, it covers loss so if it didn't cover water damage you could just loose it. Of course the need to have TEP on a device that can be replaced via ebay at or less than the deductible might be a question worth asking.

it was just the battery that was drop in a small pile of snow like last spring. Otherwise the phone shows none of the signs of water damage but it is acting up really badly. I just want to know if there another way to tell if there water daage on the phone besides the battery cause it easy to replace a battery.

i doubt there's any real water damage if only the battery was dropped in snow. those kinds of batteries are really sealed tightly.
