hey all! im new here. i recently dropped my phone in some water a few days ago and had my phone sit in rice for a few days. the phone turns on (yay!) but the screen looks like it has water behind it, or is damaged from the water. the phone still works and i can still see everything on the screen. only problem is, my screen wont turn off. while im charging it, it keeps flashing back on.

any suggestions on what i should do? or any ideas where i can fix it for a good price? anything? thanks!

This (sort of) happened to my MyTouch 3G Slide.

I had the phone sitting in the center console of my car. I ended up rolling the car, getting sprite all over the phone, and it flew out of the car. The button backlights were stuck on for a month or so.

It went from always on, to random, then back to normal.

This may not be the case for you, but who knows. Good luck with your phone!

Pleople remember we have a Mytouch 4G not a Moto Defy, lol.Sorry to hear that man,try applying some heat to it with a hair dryer it might get rid of the water(if any)thats causing the screen problem.Or.u can put it in a shoe box right on top of ur water heater, that worked for me one time.
