I've got some water into the Home button of my Galaxy GT-S5830 and now the phone will only go into system recovery mode. I get the following:

    Android System Recovery

    Reboot System
    Apply Udate from Sdcard
    Wipe data/factory reset
    Wipe Cache Partition

    Appling Multi-CSC...
    can't access to '/system/csc/XEU/system/'

I can navigate using the volume button but can't activate any of the options.

My first priority is to get the phone working again, it would be nice if I could save the data in my Calendar, but if anyone has any ideas on how to proceed I'd be most grateful.

First turn off your phone and get rid off the water, if it gets into the circuits then you will loose much more than just the data....
Dry out the water first, then we'll see what you need to get it all working again..
