I have noticed that I cannot play WAV files on my Droid Eris. Is there some kind of work around for this? It is very frustrating.

Here is everything currently on the market that references .wav files.

I had ripped Transformers to .wav and did a file transfer to a music folder I created. It did work.

You keep sending this link to everyone that wants to play videos, but by reading the reviews most people says it sucks and doesn't work.

Yes they can. I have "Message for you, sir!" from Monty Python and the Holy Grail play every time I get an e-mail, and it's a .wav file. Never had an issue with it.

Use a file manager (I use ASTRO) to place the file in the right directory, then reboot your phone. The file should be available after that.

Just a quick question, are you SURE you are trying a .wav file?
