Is there a weather radar overlay/layer for Google Earth or preferrably Google Maps thats the same or about quality of weather.com? (weather.com uses bing maps with a radar oevrlay, detailed specific right down to your streer)

I just d/l'd Rainy Days. Is it a battery hog? Seems my phone dropped pretty fast this morning, something it hasn't been doing.

My local cbs station has an app called StormTrack11. Its set by default to Toledo, OH, but you can easily change that to any city in the US. It uses Google Maps and has overlays for storm tracks, temp, watches/warnings, etc. You should try that, I used to use weather channel app but hated the radar maps.

    Sitlet,

Awesome app. Just what I was looking for. To bad there isn't an option to disable the satellite layer so that it would be just the "map" layer or the option to do both. (switch between the two)

A tad tedious when downloading radar area layers, but it works!

    Thank you!
