Does anyone know if there is a web browser that will display through the HDMI output?

I don't think so, no. It is a hardware limitation, not software. Very stupid, imho.

Patiently waiting for this and wonder if this is by choice or there are physical or power limitations.

Waiting for the day these great phones support HDMI output (full screen as is seen on the phone for all Aps) and standard usb keyboard and mouse input. Maybe the display could change when the port is in use to take advantage of larger screens.

It would be cool if we could purchase a single connector with IO jacks for all 3.

Maybe see the development of new gutless netbooks and TV flatscreens that come with keyboards so that you can just plug in your phone and use it like a desktop.

    We must be close.

The wait is over! fullhdmi beta is available at this link and on the market:

To fully take advantage of this app, you will need to be rooted, and will need to flash the custom kernal the dev released. This enables hardware acceleration, and will give you a much smoother picture.
