    Newbie question!!!!!

Is there a way of re-sizing web pages when they first appear, other than pinching?

My desire opens web pages at their smallest possible setting, and so are un-readable without opening the page out with finger and thumb!!!

My old G2 touch opened them at a much better size, and I only had to increase the page size a little.

Is there an auto setting to achieve this?

    Thanks-in-advance

    Oh, and keep it simple?

I don't know if there's any way of making it default to opening pages already zoomed in, but instead of pinching you can double tap the screen.

    Found it now.

    When on a web page:

    menu>more>settings>default zoom

make sure set to medium or close

    ALSO.........

under default zoom is "open pages in overview"

    make sure this is un-ticked
