Root Webtop without dock

    You can manually launch the webtop environment with just the HDMI cable by executing

    /osh/etc/init.d/startX.sh

    Its kinda weird atm. when i plug in the hdmi and go to media you get a small version of the webtop, and if i do nothing then do it you get the screen saver running over it

    Can you try using /osh/etc/init.d/startX.SH instead? I don't have a bt kbd/mouse here to be able to play with this...

    How do you get to command line to run this?

    EDIIT:
    OK, I used astro to try to run this, but when I select startX it says ".sh" filled does not exist. Any advice?

    Not fully functional but it shows it can be done. No point trying ATM since no way to get any input

    The script makes a backup for you, which is really nice of them! :cool: Okay, I see you already wrote that. Man, I need to stay away from the forums when I'm tired.... :rolleyes:
