When my phone is in standby i:e black screen, it keeps lighting up to reveal the home screen even though I have received no messages, calls etc, have checked and there are no programmes running that would cause this,it is very annoying as I keep thinking someone is calling or I have received a text, anyone got any idea what might be causing this?

That's a wierd one. Could it be an app you've downloaded attempting to bring the machine out of standby maybe? How frequently is this happening?

About every 60 seconds, have checked to see if its a particular app but it appears to be quite random
