So this is really weird. somebody tell me if this is the same with you guys. i have root i guess but this is whats weird. i can load rom manager and load spr and new roms etc. but then in apps like setcpu and titanium backup it says i dont have root access? but before this i had the first 2.2 rom that was released and that allowed setcpu but not titanium backup. its so confusing and now i cant open setcpu if i load my new kernal it runs at the highest speed but its only read-only and i cant change it. what can or should i do?

Yea, that is really weird. The first thing I would try is to go to Settings > Applications > Manage applications ... Tap on "All" at the top. Scroll down to Superuser Permissions and clear the data. You will then have to allow every app again root access, but this just might clear out the cob webs.
