weird screen while pressing 'back' button?

Got a question for you all! I notice on my eris that when i am on a menu with a black background that if i hit my back (bottom button) a little firmly, right above the button on the lcd kind of changes colors. like if you press your laptop screen. its only a little bit though. If you could, please try this and report back!

No mine doesn't do that and I'm pressing pretty hard.

mine barely does it and i only notice it on a black screen... Think it will mess it up over time?

How long have you had your phone? I've had mine for a month and a half maybe someone with more time can give more insight. If you're still within your 30 days I would take to the store just to make sure.

I cannot reproduce your problem on my phone.

I'd take it to Verizon and show them.

Mine does that but only if I press firmly and above where I normally press the back button. I can see it on pretty much any screen. But, I wouldn't worry about it just don't pound on your screen too hard.

Alright I went to the verizon store and they said it was normal. I also checked a FEW of the demo phones they had at the store and they all did the same thing. Thank you everybody for helping me out!!!
