Alright, let me preface this thread by stating that I am NOT having problems with sending or receiving messages.

That said, here we go.....For some odd reason, my message display is not displaying my messages the way that it should. Let me explain, typically when you are having a conversation with somebody, your messages will be staggered...their message, then you reply, then their message, then your reply, etc., etc....Now for some reason, mine are not being displayed like that any more. I have a large stack of bubbles at the top of my thread of all of my messages followed by a large stack of the other persons messages. It is a bit of a pain when having an extended conversation! I have been all through my phone looking for a possible setting that controls this and can not for the liufe of me find one or figure it out! Here is a little example:

This is how it should look:

    sent
    received
    sent
    received
    sent
    received

This is how it is now:

    sent
    sent
    sent
    received
    received
    received

    Help!

Thank you in advance for any helpful hints and/or suggestions :)

Does it display the same with any 3rd party application such as handcent?

It does not. In fact, after the problem began, I downloaded Handcent to use until I could find a solution to the problem. Fortunatly, I have found that I rather like using Handcent more than the stock messaging program. However, I would still like to figure out the cause and solution to this :)

Hello? Anybody? Nobody else has had this problem or knows the solution? (if there is one)

Your date and time on the phone are set correctly?

Although this would really impact handcent too I guess

Had a client with this exact same issue on a Captivate; updating to 2.2 and a factory wipe fixed the problem.
