Help weird speedtest wile tethered

so when i had internet on my computer and did a speed test its shows me being in mi


but now if im tethered ether usb or wifi it says im in kansas

whats up with that

Its an IP thing...sort of a long story...but nothing is wrong, that's the way its supposed to be.

Long story short, I'm pretty sure the servers that process your data for your phone service are located there. Websites trying to access your IP address also see that external value, and that location, so it's also a level of anonymity.

You're lucky, Virgin Mobile only has one data processing center in the nation and it's in Kansas.

so i ran speedtest.apk on phone it got my location right changed the proxies to 0 now my tether shows right location
