I got a text from a number i've never even heard of, 415-689-9432. After googling it, it turns out it's from an app called LookOut Mobile Security, and I don't even use it. The text said:

Lookout is sending this message to initiate an automatic connection. No action is required. FLXO6Su25

Does this mean someone is tracking my phone or something?

Best guess is it is spam.

I just checked their support site and nothing came up under searches for that number or that code. Check out the lookout website and see if you can contact them and ask their support team.

Is the phone second hand? Like is there any chance it could be stolen?

I use Lookout and have tracked a phone before. I get no text notification on the device when tracking it. Sending a text while trying to locate a stolen device would be sort of counter productive. I'm on board with the spam concept from above.

    **Edit**

I had a thought and dialed the number you listed from my office phone and got a message that the number was not in use. That really supports the spam idea.
