A friend of mine just got the Droid X and she has been told by friends that have the iPhone that her texts contain the "@" symbol randomly in them, especially after she types "LOL." She is using Handcent.

Anyone have a clue what this is all about?

Hmmm... Is she trying to use a symbol after the "lol" that may not be supported? I'm kind of clueless on this.

Does this happen in the standard SMS app on android?
