PLEASE HELP with frozen EVO
I bought the EVO yesterday and today something popped up saying I had to install a new feature...so I did the phone turned off rebooted itself then when the HTC EVO 4G pops up at start up it just stays there GRRRR I have toke the battery out, I have called HTC they told me to hold down the down arrow then power button to clear storage. I have done everything in my power please help

What exactly was the new feature that you installed? If would help to get some more info.

It was the sprint/evo security patch

Really the last thing you could try is a battery pull, take it out and leave it out for 5 minutes or so and give it a shot.
The only update I have had is the SD card one on the 4th.

Take it to a Sprint Corp. store let them figure it out. Thats one nice thing about the IPhone if you have a problem you take it to the Apple Genius bar and wham its fixed or replaced right on the spot.
