I've been having issues with this lg Volt having poor cell signal and Im still in my return window. I happened to find the Sharp Aquos today for boost mobile at a best buy mobile. All I can say is it's the most amazingly sexy device I've ever seen. It puts the iPhone to shame. The employee was even impressed with it.

More photos. I must point out that it's going to need a case as the glass protrudes and makes me nervous. The quality of the screen and back of the phone are top notch though. I looks like a high end device.

I..don't like it. The fat silver bezel at the bottom with the camera makes it look like 1980's stereo equipment. -_-

I was thinking of picking it up but it supposedly only has a plastic screen instead if Gorilla Glass. I don't think a plastic screen would last me.

I read entirely too many reviews that focused on its poorly made design. The plastic screen would definitely be an issue with me and from what I hear, it doesn't help that the entire phone is all cheap feeling. I have big hands so that probably wouldn't last but a few months with me.

I also read that the plastic screen is a bit less responsive then glass. This was explained by the cnet device review, and I think the other was phone arena. That one I can't remember, but I do remember the cnet one.

Sounds good. The more information we have per device, the better a decision we can make on which ones are worth their weight.

Try to focus on touches too so we can see if the complaints of lagging touches are true. I just wonder if there is a difference in the pressure sensitivity on glass vs plastic.

Well I just downloaded multi-touch test from play store and its 5 touches and there's no lag at all in fact its extremely responsive. I have had a lot of phones and can't say I notice any lag with touch at all yet. I'm in the honey moon stage obviously but I'm loving it so far. By the way Swype is working fabulously as well and you know that requires precision.

Maybe you can do a bench test and everything and let us know how it performs
Okay I will what bench program? Also one thing I've noticed is things like Facebook messenger don't crash anymore. I have 685mb memory being used and 685mb free which is really nice rather than the 100-200 on my Volt.

I was not aware this phone was out yet... are you in the US? And do you know when this was released on boost? I'm very interested in this as a backup phone!

I really like this phone. The screen is very clear and colourful. Everything is very speedy I will be glad when my case for it arrives though as it's definitely slippery and seems like a drop wouldn't do good things haha.

I was thinking of waiting for that phone but the deal breaker for me was the non-removable battery. Im big on privacy and security. A phone with no sd card slot or removable battery just doesnt sit right with me. I have a s2 that has been modded, hacked and de-googlefied. I just received my Lg Volt in the mail a couple days ago. I have noticed a few glitches but hopefully development pick-up. Im tempted to root.

Well, I'll tell you one thing. The volt is super sensitive to water. I'm not sure if that caused the damage but my back and menu key hardly work anymore. I looked at the boost website for any new phones, I saw the sharp aquos, only one problem, no Corning gorilla glass. Idk if I should get it or get another volt.

I have installed wet skins on my volt twice now, no lasting issues. I will say how ever that it sooo totally hates water. The first time I cut my own skin when I first bought it, but recently I installed a fabricated one from xtreme guard. Were all my other devices would regain most of their touch accuracy several hours after applying the screen the volt took 48 hours to regain full touch. I had a very hard time unlocking it after just applying the screen.

I made the same switch a few days ago.. I'm considering going back to trade for the volt. I really miss the battery life and home button. What are your thoughts after using the crystal?
