Well..My mom just broke her Droid

She dropped it outside on the concrete floor screen facing down and it shattered. She was trying to take it out of her pocket and kaput it went. She has a case but didn't have it on the phone..Probably wouldn't have much of a difference anyway.

Luckily we do have insurance on it so we'll see how much that helps.

I dropped my milestone 2 months after i got it. And it bounds off its side and landed on its face. It dented the antenna area and scuffed it but not a scratch on the screen. I was cursing a storm before i picked it up. It was raining out so i went to pull it out of my pocket and it slipped onto the cirb. Battery door and battery went flying off. I thought for sure if the fall didn't break it the rain would but i was lucky. And sadly we don't have that good phone insurance in Canada so i would have been out 500$ for a new phone
