    Guys,

I think this belongs in the all-things-root sub-forum (you'll get more views and responses there I'm guessing).

    Cheers!

I am asking generally what's so good about it... I am not trying to be funny about it mate I am asking because I want to know why its so popular and i may then consider it!

I'm not being funny either. It is what it says in its thread

pfft... right. Just what I am getting at is as I never heard of it I was not gonna try it however I noticed it seems to be popular so I am thinking of giving it a try. Although I want to know why its so popular and what people seem to love about it! I dont think "Nothing, don't worry about it" is a very helpful answer!! The XDA thread has what it doesn, but I also want to know why people like it over the others.

But why would you have heard of it? It's new. All Roms are unheard of at some point.

It's small, its light, its clean, its quick, its good on battery but of course I would say that.

Theres nothing special about it really it just does what it says on the tin. It's really "d"

    its an anti bloat rom

basically it gets rid of all the bs that "generally" people dont need
it provides sh1tloads of room without requiring an ext partition for apps
    its fast
battery life is awesome and even better with the manu 1.4 havs axi kernel

this rom is for advanced users that generally know their way around android, the various terms, fastboot and adb

this rom isnt for people who like the htc eye candy

GOlauncher is my launcher of choice with this rom as its smooth and fully customisable.

as SUroot says theres nothing "special" about it. its just the smallest rom available in 2.3gb and does so by getting rid of fancy shizzle and apps you dont need or apps that can be installed from the market later (if you need them)

EDIT: been running it for nearly a week so far, overclocked to 1113mhz without a reboot

you won't achieve much with creating a pool this way

there are a lot pools at XDA with many votes but i won't look at that either

best way to find which is better is to try them
it is not so hard to install a rom

As said, now running dGB, AND its SWEET! fast as fook, fastest ROM I've used, best battery life of ANY ROM I've used. its just very lean, but I like it!
