Looking forward to get my first tablet which will be Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition. One of the main uses shall be cutting down my power bill by letting me keep this tabletop PC with an 800W power supply turned off. To enable that, it should take care of all my web browsing, email, instant messaging and most importantly music playing needs.

I've been happily using Power Amp on my Galaxy Note 2 and now Note 3 although it's already bugging me a bit that there is no choice for smaller font or some more space efficient landscape mode. Spotify and Google Play Music look quite aged with the large font hogging up the space.

Are there any good music players I should try out with special focus on 2560x1600 and other large resolutions put to good use? I'm talking about side by side views of play queue and search results/library with drag and drop features for quickly sorting playlists and queue. Maybe album cover and play controls in one corner or as a side bar.

Or does Power Amp maybe do some trick once it notices you are on a tablet and enable some other view instead of just enlarging everything further? I understood that Tapatalk for example has a different looks when you run it on a tablet. I guess Spotify will still look equally clumsy and I have no interest in migrating to Google Play Music since it doesn't support my devices that have integrated Spotify. I doubt Google Play Music scales well either judging by some tablet caps I've seen...
