    I am a new Droid/smartphone owner so I get lost with some of the things I read on here.
    When you guys are talking about .866, .893, or .901 what are you talking about. I can figure out it is a version of something but I don't know what. You also talk about getting the newer version of whatever you have. How do you go about doing this?

    Those are software update version #s. You get them OTA (over the air from Verizon) or you can root your phone and get them earlier. The .901 is an example of this, it will be pushed out by Verizon OTA in the near future, but if you root your phone you can download and install now.
