"Everybody's got a drug dealer on speed dial!"
Yeah, mine's called "my doctor".
American History Channel. It's all about Hitler right now. I wish they'd do something on the Suffragettes.
Way more American...
These were some of the best days
God I love rock so much!
This is about a topic near and dear to my heart. It is also one of 2 topics that can turn me into a less than nice person.
Ran across this gem and thought of @Notes_Norton since you have such an appreciation for different music. The movie is in my top 10 list and the music is definitely a favorite of mine
This is a lovely song when I feel down it always makes me feel great!
Where did these awesome days go to?
Such awesome memories... golden memories...
A friend just forwarded this to me. "Hallelujah" has probably been covered by everyone and his brother, but this one has varied lyrics in tribute to the armed forces. The singer/lyricist is a Navy vet and she's got terrific pipes as well. And the naked guitar work in this (occasionally other instruments join) is masterful.
Skid Row - Quicksand Jesus
Rush - Time Machine 2011: Live In Cleveland.
Ahh thank you! That reminds me of one of the best bands
I love that song Tom Sawyer by Rush it's a great song!
You really should check out The Rush - Time Machine DVD,It is such a great concert. If you like Rush you will like this concert.
@dontpanicbobby's bird recording
IMHO Ennio Morricone (the composer) was a genius. I have the soundtrack CD from the movie. The Danish National did a great job of that. Thanks for sharing!
Electric Frog - Pt 1 & 2 - Kool & the Gang
I think I’m safe in saying that most here have never heard this song...and I’m not sure what made it pop back into my head after Lo! these many years.
Still, I think you’ll enjoy it...
Love her voice
Is You Is You Ain't My Baby - Louis Jordan
Cuts Like a Knife - Bryan Adams (live version with mandolin and recorder plus a few other bits...)
Unfortunately the video is cropped, which is a shame, because it's a really cool version of this terrific song. Can't find it anywhere else...
Motorcycles riding by which makes me wonder why I'm not doing the same thing! Off I go!
American propaganda from 1945. "Hitler Lives" I bet it was a newsreel back before television. Surprisingly they had wireless calling back then but the range sucked on handheld devices.
An appropriate song.
One Night in Beijing
A great classic a great song
