Just wondering what has become the Browser to have
I am currently using opera mini 5 beta. super fast on 2.1. try it
Im still on 1.5, does that matter
opera mini 5 beta. And to anyone else using it, is there a simple, one-click way to bookmark a site?
Still use the stock and Opera. Man that new Opera is just stupid fast though and I'm using it more and more.
I switched to xScope a few days ago ... it's not quite perfect, but overall I"m pretty impressed.
dolphin ftw, once you use it about a week you will never go back.
Dolphin, got so used to pinch & zoom on my old iPhone 3Gs, which Dolphin has.
been using dolphin since the day i got my eris.
Opera Mini does not have pinch and zoom, for that very reason I dont use it otherwise I would like everything else about Opera
i never, literally never, use pinch to zoom...why use 2 fingers and 2 hands to zoom?
Not wanting to be an evangelist, here ... but you guys should check out the one-figure zoom gestures that xScope offers. Pretty cool!
that pin zoom on xscope is rather nifty i agree. not good enough for me to switch from dolphin, but that was pretty cool
I like the speed and UI of Xscope. Mostly use that, sometimes still use the native browser.
Stock, still leaps and bounds faster than my old blackberry.
I still use the stock browser too. I like having flash in the browser and I don't think any of the others do that. I visit quite a few flash heavy sites on my phone.
The stock browser and Opera.
for one im not you am i, so u can only speak for yourself, since there are millions of other people like me who like pinch and zoom what makes you think your reason for not liking it is more justified
um, that was more of a rhetorical statement there buckaroo...
yea yea sure
I use Dolphin.
Tried xScope but wasn't really impressed.
Stock keeps crashing.
I may try Opera this afternoon if I get bored at work.
Right now I'm using Dolphin (except when I want Flash, in which case I switch to the stock browser). It sounds like I should try out xScope and Opera Mini too.
My big requirements are:
being able to exit
importing or syncing my Google bookmarks
Can Opera mini cache on the SD card?
xscope ....... was never really all that happy with Dolphin..... but that is the awesome thing about android, they give you many options....since not everyone will like the same thing
I also like Opera if there was just some way to make it the default browser....
