    Hey Droid Users,

I am curious to know if anyone has tried attaching a keyboard, controller or remote through the Micro USB port yet. Is there any apps yet to allow this?

I think I may try and order a cheap Mini USB Game Controller with a Micro USB Adapter and see if I can use it to play games through one of my Emulators. If anyone has already tried this please let me know.

Being able to use this Micro USB to output video is also a question I have. If anyone has discovered anything cool with this Micro USB port feel free to share.

    Thanks

Micro usb ports are not magic. You can't just stick any device into your droid and expect it to work.

Using things like keyboards, mice, sensor's etc. would require the Droid to be a USB "host," which it currently cannot do. This is currently the third most requested features from developers: Issues - android - Project Hosting on Google Code

AFAIK the only shipping phone with usb host is the Nokia N900. If you can still find them the OpenMoko also has usb host capability. Does the hardware on the Droid even support host?
