    Hi,

I really, really miss the function of being able to skip to the next track by holding down the volume buttons, like on my blackberry, so I don't have to take the phone out of my pocket, wake it up, unlock screen, and manually press the "next" button.

Since I use custom in ear monitors, I don't have the remote on the earphone like the stock earphones do.

On the web, someone mentioned that all I have to do is root the phone, and install an app such as buttonremapper, and then I will be able to remap the volume button to act as a music track skipper when being long pressed.

Is this true? I much rather not flash to another rom. :)

    Thanks!

I completely forgotten about XDA, thank you so much! Registering there now, and probably will spend a couple of hours there reading. :)

    Thanks!
