Yeah we have the Chinese update around here somewhere and when you flash it everything comes up Chinese! LOL

We had a few bricked phones from it but that's the update the bootleg rom is spawn from.

So even though they didn't officially give it to us, We've still got something. Gotta love all the people who can develop these roms. Seriously, They are my heros too! Now, Just to get 2.2 with working MMS...I'll be happy as an old man with lifetime free samples of viagra! Or was it a kid in a candy store...I can't remember..

I'm thinking of flashing the bootleg 2.2. I like fiddling with my phone. I figure the worst thing that can happen is I have to flash it back to stock. I don't care if the mms doesn't work. LOL

If they don't send out that official upgrade soon, I will get the 2.2 rom. By then I'm sure they will have fixed the MMS issue. I'll still be able to get an update, One way or the other.

Since its my frist andriod phone
I dont know .... before I was using the samsung Finess , I Love that Phone
spend so much money on metro shop app , I miss my Final Fantasy game on that phone LoL

Let Starting with Metro PCS - with 3 Andriod Phones

Samsung Galaxy Indulge -$ 400 Cost way too much , thats it !!! everything else I wanted is with that phone LoL

LG Optimus M - no comment $ 149 ( dont like the look and the feel )

Huawai Ascend $ 99.00 - like the 9 ways interface home page
downside 2.1 , without flasher , dislike the tracking ball , remind me of the old style blackberry , like the top cover to the headphone jack and usb changer at frist
but became pain in the bxtt when i have to open it every nite to change my phone , if u got nail its oki lol
but over all i like the look , apps and the price LoL

I have to agree, some of their phones are a bit pricey, I just recently traded my Optimus M for the Ascend and at first I wasn't going to like the ascend but I guess I had to work out the kinks in the phone =\ only issue I'm having with is the camera settings, usually on the Optimus, it'll automatically detect the photo quality, unless the camera is fogged up, IDK what's wrong with the quality on this phone and I had a problem with the lag on the texting part too. but I think it's starting to fix itself more I guess. I just like the ascend b/c of the look and feel of the phone and plus the screen is bigger which makes it easier for texting in portait mode unlike the Optimus M, when I tried to type in portait/landscape, it just doesn't work for me. But I do miss the Optimus M though

I'd stuck with the om, its a much better phone esp on the stock os.

Got it for $15, installed z4root, over clock and tether.. Great phone.. just wish the phone receiver didn't make every call sound like I was talking to Charlie Brown's teacher.
