Root What does it take to undervolt??

    i know that should solve alot of the problems so what would it take to do that?

    so dear sir what is it going to take to get that kernel?

    what are disadvantages to undervolting?

    Patience. I'm sure PG will hook us up, just keep in mind he is doing this with his free time with no guaranteed compensation. I'm sure buying the guy a drink would be a good motivator. :D

    As far as undervolting, maybe someone else will have more to add but doing so can cause stability issues. I've seen some funky stuff when undervolting too far. It can be quite stable though if you don't overdo it. The reduced heat and power consumption would be some nice benefits for this phone.

    yes thats understandable idk i get the feeling that u shud b learning to do this stuff so i feel guilty when im not contributing and i was hoping to see if i can help out in anybway

    By all means if you want to help I'm sure someone can point you to resources to start learning. I would definitely take the time to learn and help out if I could spare it right now. I do at least make sure to give a little compensation for their efforts.

    yup same here. i just cant find time. and i procrastinate enough already with work and school.
