Help What does this icon mean?

I had a new icon show up in my status bar today. It is an Uppercase 'N' with what looks like an RSS icon in the lower left quadrant on the leg of the 'N' only it is three arcs instead of a dot and 2 arcs. The 'N' is the prominent feature of the icon, with the arcs taking up less than an 8th of the design. Does anyone have any idea what this is?

The most common questions about "N" icons has to do with NFC being active/enabled, but that doesn't quite sound like it. If you could let us know what phone and android version you have, it would be helpful ... and a picture if possible.
