It isn’t a notification, it is next to a name
I’m my Phones conversations, someone not in my contacts list text me, but instead of seeing the number it showed a name and that little icon next to his name.

Perhaps it's an ad? "Save up to an extra $15"? What's "Roc", next to the icon? Could be it's just their company logo or trademark?

FWIW I have a Galaxy Note20 Ultra, and I've not seen that icon on this device in the stock SMS app.

A contact that's setup for group messaging? Just a guess.
